Ring Magazine Welterweight Ranking Pacquiao is Number 1 - According to Ring Magazine, Pound for Pound #1 Manny Pacquiao is also now the number 1 welterweight and jr. welterweight in the world after defeating Miguel Cotto.

Miguel Cotto, who is now at number 4, has fought the majority of the top 10 welterweights. "I fought everybody and Manny is one of the best all time," Cotto said.

Meanwhile, former number 2 Floyd Mayweather, who defeated Juan Manuel Marquez, is now at number 3.

Welterweight champion Shane Mosley, the former number 1, slides to number 2. Shane is a fighter who wants to fight Mayweather and Pacquiao. He defeated Antonio Margarito for a welter title. He is trying to unify the welterweight belts through his upcoming fight with Andre Berto (another belt holder) this January 2010. Mosley is one of the name that is being considered by Pacquiao to fight next should the Mayweather vs Pacquiao not go through.

My Fearless Forecast:

Manny Pacquiao will win via technical knockout at around 3 to 4 round. Cotto is a good boxer but Pacquiao is execelent boxer but Cotto is unmatched to the speed and power of Manny Pacquiao. He is exceptional boxer and he is the greatest boxer that ever lived. why? because he is the only boxer jumped into 10 weight division in order to fight in a welterweight division, and there is a rumor that he will fight at 154 lbs to face Julio Cezar Chavez jr. if Manny Pacquiao wins he was the first boxer to have a 7 world championship in a 7 different division and another kind of belt which WBC new release belt.
